On Day 4 I talked about setting up your product and email list with ConvertKit. Today I want to review how everything you have done to set up your new wordpress blog has come full circle. I also want to point out the importance of your email list and how you will use all the work you have done to continue to keep an engaged audience.

Think of your audience as your friends

Your email list or audience should be thought of as your friends list. Would you send emails to your friends that aren’t going to benefit them? No! You are going to send your friends updates that bring them value and what they asked for.

Once you have created your product and developed an email list use that list to bring more value to your audience.

If the user signed up for your free how to blog campaign. Would they benefit from your other courses? Probably, so use your free campaign as an opportunity to tell them about your other course. Maybe this is a course you offer for a small fee.

Share products that you enjoy. Utilize the affiliate products that you trust and share them with your friends. Your email list is now its own marketing tool that you can use to share your experience and knowledge. It’s your experience and knowledge that you are monetizing.

I hope you have enjoyed this Blogging for Beginners course and will share it with others. Please leave me a comment below to tell me what you think!
